ABOUT

THE ARTIST

"If someone were to ask you what makes a house a home what would you say? For me, I immediately think of plants, throw pillows, and artwork. The flickering of a candle and good company help too!"

EDUCATION

SELF - TAUGHT

Jennifer is entirely self-taught, mastering her craft through dedication and practice without any formal training.

STRUGGLES

VISION DISORDER

Jennifer experiences a rare neurological condition called visual snow, which causes a constant flickering across her entire field of vision—like TV static overlaying everything she sees. She believes this condition deeply influences her artistic style, as she gravitates away from bright colors, finding them overwhelming and chaotic. Despite this visual interference, she creates artwork with astonishing precision and detail—how she does it remains a mystery!

MISSION

THE WHY

My goal is to create art that brings warmth, comfort, and a touch of nature’s beauty into your home. I want my pieces to be a source of joy, a moment of calm in the chaos of daily life, and a reminder to appreciate the world around us. More than anything, I hope my art makes you smile.

LOCATION

KELOWNA BASED

Jennifer grew up in the Okanagan and now calls Kelowna, BC, home. A passionate traveler who has explored 26 countries, she feels incredibly fortunate to live in a place with so much natural beauty. Whether in her travels or at home, she finds endless inspiration in the world around her.

CAREER

FULL-TIME ARTIST

Jennifer embarked on her art career in 2019, transitioning to full-time work shortly after. Before that, she worked as a server, but she felt a strong desire for more creativity and independence in her life. So, she took a leap and posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace, showcasing her pieces and asking if anyone would be interested in purchasing prints. The response was overwhelming, which led her to place her first print order and quit her serving job just a month later. In the Fall of 2022, Jennifer released her oil paintings, marking another exciting chapter in her artistic journey.
