About The Artist

Jennifer Delaney is a self-taught artist whose work blends meticulous detail with striking simplicity. Despite having no formal training, she has mastered her craft through dedication and practice, creating pieces that bring warmth, comfort, and a touch of nature’s beauty into the home.

Jennifer experiences a rare neurological condition called visual snow, which causes a constant flickering across her entire field of vision—like TV static overlaying everything she sees. She believes this condition deeply influences her artistic style, leading her to avoid bright colors, which she finds overwhelming and chaotic. Yet, despite this visual interference, she produces incredibly detailed and precise artwork, leaving many to wonder how she does it.

Born and raised in the Okanagan, Jennifer now calls Kelowna, BC, home. A passionate traveler who has explored 26 countries, she feels incredibly fortunate to live in a place surrounded by such breathtaking natural beauty. Whether on her travels or in her own backyard, she finds endless inspiration in the world around her.

Jennifer’s artistic journey began in 2019 when she took a leap of faith and shared her work on Facebook Marketplace, asking if anyone would be interested in purchasing prints. The response was overwhelming, prompting her to place her first print order and leave her job as a server just a month later. Since then, she has pursued art full-time, continually evolving and expanding her work. In the fall of 2022, she introduced oil paintings into her portfolio, marking an exciting new chapter in her creative journey.

Above all, Jennifer’s mission is to create art that sparks joy, provides a moment of calm in the chaos of daily life, and serves as a reminder to appreciate the beauty in nature. More than anything, she hopes her work makes people smile.
